Over the past 25+ years working alongside leaders in corporate environments, I’ve noticed something important.
When leadership begins to feel heavy, many women assume something needs to change externally.
A different role.
A new direction.
A complete reset.
But often, what’s needed isn’t reinvention.
It’s renewal.
High-capacity women are incredibly capable of sustaining responsibility.
They lead.
They solve.
They carry.
But over time, even strong leadership can become misaligned with the season they are in.
What once felt purposeful begins to feel pressured.
What once felt clear begins to feel complicated.
Not because they’ve lost their ability.
But because they haven’t paused long enough to be renewed.
This is something we see reflected clearly in our faith.
Renewal was never meant to be dramatic.
It’s intentional.
It’s quiet.
It’s anchored.
Easter reminds us that renewal doesn’t come from striving harder.
It comes from returning to what is true.
In leadership, that often means asking:
Where have I been leading from pressure instead of peace?
What am I carrying that no longer belongs to me?
Where do I need to pause instead of push?
Faith-aligned leadership isn’t about constant output.
It’s about sustained alignment.
And alignment requires renewal.
Not once.
But regularly.
Before assuming something needs to change externally, consider this:
You may not need to reinvent your leadership.
You may need to renew it.
Steadfastly,
Angie
