After more than 25 years working alongside leaders in corporate environments, I’ve seen something that often goes unnoticed.
When leadership begins to feel off, most women respond by doing more.
They try to get ahead.
They try to be more efficient.
They try to manage things better.
But misalignment isn’t solved by effort.
It’s solved by realignment.
High-capacity women are incredibly skilled at adapting.
When expectations increase, they rise.
When pressure builds, they push through.
But over time, leadership can slowly drift.
Not dramatically.
Subtly.
Decisions begin to feel heavier.
Boundaries become less clear.
Confidence starts to fluctuate.
Not because they’ve lost their ability.
But because they’re no longer leading in alignment with:
- Their values
- Their capacity
- Their current season
This is where the second step of the Faith-Aligned Leadership Reset becomes essential.
Realign.
Realignment is not about doing less.
It’s about leading differently.
It requires asking:
Am I making decisions from pressure or from conviction?
Am I saying yes because it’s expected — or because it’s aligned?
Am I leading from urgency — or from clarity?
Faith-aligned leadership is not reactive.
It is anchored.
It is intentional.It is steady.
And it is built on alignment, not constant effort.
If leadership has started to feel off, it’s worth pausing to ask:
Where has my leadership drifted out of alignment?
Because clarity doesn’t come from doing more.
It comes from realigning.
Steadfastly,
Angie
